Neil Diamond. I was putting myself through design school by working as a PA for his tour rehearsals. One day when the tour manager needed some urgent changes to backstage pass designs, I got my big break.
At the end of rehearsals, Neil found out there was a coffee runner doing designs for him and came to meet me. He gave me a job creating merchandise designs for his 2008/2009 World Tour. We literally sat at a giant oak table, just me and him in his studio that has more gold records than wall space. I had never been so scared or excited in my life.
